Carmel is an absolute ray of sunshine- she brings smiles to everyone around her with her positive energy and happy dances. She would do well in a home where she is the only pet as she tends to get jealous when other pets take attention away from her. Initially, she will be shy and nervous but once Carmel trusts you, she will constantly crawl into your lap and demand endless pets. She has alopecia from previous malnutrition, but she has had some hair growth since being in her foster home. She has bilateral medial patellar luxation (MPL) on her back side-left is grade 4; right is grade 3. The bilateral MPL does not bother her, and she does enjoy walking, running, and hopping around. She came to us debarked, so her barks and voice will be smaller and hoarse. She dislikes harnesses but will tolerate a leash. Carmel is crate trained, pee pad trained, rides well in the car, and is starting to develop interest in toys. She can sleep through the night and is a snorer. Carmel is looking for a loving home with soft beds and surfaces, with someone who has the patience to understand her wants, and can accept and provide for her physical needs.
