If you’re looking for the ultimate little lap dog, Marino is your girl. She’s the definition of a tiny queen — sweet, loyal, and happiest when she’s curled up right next to her person. She tends to bond closely with one person, but she still enjoys cuddles and attention from the whole family.

Marino is the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, settle in wherever you are, and make herself right at home. She’s potty trained, though like most pups adjusting to a new place, she may have a couple of accidents while she gets her bearings.

Because she was debarked before coming to rescue, her bark is very soft and barely audible, which makes her a great fit for apartment living. She’s also become a great little walker — she does really well on a leash and loves going on short strolls to check out the neighborhood.

Marino gets along nicely with other dogs and does fine with kids, but her dream life is definitely being someone’s dedicated lap dog and little shadow. She loves lounging, soaking up attention, and of course, belly rubs. She has this special way of making you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. She sleeps well in a crate but would absolutely prefer to snuggle in bed with you if she had the choice. Marino is a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who just wants a calm, loving home where she can be adored like the tiny queen she is.
