Rupi Kaur

Rupi is a sweet and playful Pomeranian. She is very affectionate and is eager to get pets from anyone. She does the cutest wiggly dance whenever she gets excited for pets or if you sit on the floor near her. She especially loves tennis balls and is happy to play fetch with you or herself. Rupi walks well on the leash and is quick to learn her walking routes. She will do a low growl or a single bark whenever she sees another dog, but is getting better with redirection. When she gets up to other dogs, she is friendly and quick to move onto something else, like playing or running around with her human. Rupi is crate trained, which has helped with her potty training. She sleeps in a crate at night as this is her preferred area to sleep in. Rupi does well in the car and is just happy to be along for the ride. She would love to go to work with her human if that was possible. She does well walking and sitting down at outdoor malls/cafes. Whenever she finds a shady area on a longer walk, she likes to sploot out and enjoy the breeze and smells. She is in a foster home with other dogs, but she is mostly focused on getting attention from her humans. She might bark at first when her human leaves, but she eventually settles down. Having music on and giving her a treat before her foster leaves has helped with that. Rupi Kaur would be good for new or experienced adopters as she is very sweet and playful.
