Pinwheel

Pinwheel(goes by Pinny) is an affectionate and playful puppy with a lot of love to give. She loves spending time with other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. She enjoys playing fetch, chewing on toys, going on walks, and snuggling with family members. While she loves attention and playtime, she also appreciates quiet time just as equally.

Training: She is potty-trained in her foster-home, and currently working on basic obedience, so she will need to continue training in her forever-home! She does well in her play-pen where she sleeps every night, and is okay hanging out in there for a couple hours while you need to run errands. She is handling leash-training very well, and enjoys going on walks with her foster siblings (she tends to follow their lead)! So it’s a plus if she has her own little pack to learn from as well.

She is typically quiet, but will alert you of any guests, and joins in if other dogs are barking.

Medical: She has permanent luxating patella’s in both hind legs, which is a common occurrence in this breed, although she currently does not need medication or surgery for it. She is unable to jump on/off furniture so she will need assistance with that. Although uses stairs just fine, and goes on short walks daily as well.

Looking For: A patient, loving home where she can continue learning and growing, especially with proper training and other doggy friends to interact with.
