Joe Montana

This little guy is the sweetest. He’s potty trained in his foster home (will need direction/time in his new home). Joe uses potty pads in the house, but he enjoys relieving himself outside too.  He’s a great communicator and will let you know when he needs to go out. He barks to alert when someone is at the door or, when he wants something from you. He has a very small bark, not loud and he rarely ever barks. He has collapsing trachea and is on medication to alleviate irritation and his cough. Joe Montana has low energy and enjoys lounging on the couch watching tv, with or without his person. But, he’s very grateful when receiving belly rubs and he’ll let you rub his belly all day long. He LOVES to be held and treated like a baby. Surprisingly, he’s got some Pilates moves. He’s great at doing Superman and he can also do “the moonwalk.”  He gets excited at meal time and will do a lot of circles to let you know he’s ready to eat.

He travels nicely. Joe loves car rides and running errands. He is down to do anything to be with his person. He’s gentle as can be and would be most happy with someone that isn’t going to leave him home alone all day.  He’s just all around a really great dog. He’s not a bother at all. Other than his coughing spells, he’s pretty quiet and a love to cuddle all day!
