Twizzler

Twizzler, or “Twizzy” is a shy, but sweet girl. Though timid at first, she will slowly warm up and give you sweet kisses and little tail wags. Twizzler loves to go on walks but is still learning about how the leash works. She is a bit fearful and will hide behind her foster mom when we pass people on walks, but she gets better every day. Twizzler goes potty outside, however she will have pee accidents if you startle her. Twizzler will whine for a minute or two when her foster mom leaves but will then settle down in her bed. She is looking for someone who can take her with them on errands and who can cuddle her on the couch when they’re home. Twizzler seems to thrive in a home with a second dog. She is fearful when strangers come into the home, and will bark reactively. She can be a bit possessive of her human to strangers. Twizzler is looking for someone who can work on this behavior with her and who can get her the training and socialization she needs. She is the sweetest soul looking for her soulmate.
