Pancake

Meet Pancake, age 6, tiny & mighty, living her best foster life. Once abandoned with another dog (Alum, Hashbrown) in someone's yard in the desert, Pancake has turned her fate and is now soaking up the sweet life in her foster home-complete with two unimpressed cats and a fellow Pomeranian sidekick. Don’t let her tiny size fool you- Pancake’s bark has #smalldogenergy (especially when meeting new doggy friends and people). But once she approves of you (after a quick sniff & probably a dramatic bark), she’s all love, cuddles & belly rubs. She does great in the car and likes to have her head out the window to sniff out where she is going for the day!

Pancake is a loyal girl & is always happy to accompany her foster mom anywhere (including the bathroom of course…). She’s proof that a second chance can be a total glow-up! Pancake did have two masses removed that were cancerous, but she now has a clean bill of health. It is important to spay your dog! She will just need to be checked each year during her year physical exams for any masses, but she is feeling her amazing self now that everything has been removed. 

Pancake is happy to sleep with her belly up to show you that she feels safe and happy with  her family. She is a huge fan of spa days and regular cuddle sessions on the couch! Pancake is looking for an experienced and loving adopter who can continue her training journey and give her lots of love and cuddles. She was initially nervous on walks meeting new people and dogs and would bark, but now, she has made great strides meeting new friends calmly. Pancake has responded well to positive reinforcement on walks and at home. She sleeps in her foster family's bed and will get up whenever the family gets up. She’s had a tough start, but she’s got a lot of love & sass left to give.
