Garnet

Garnet is a 5-year-old, 10-lb bundle of fluff who adores relaxing and snuggling. He enjoys playtime when the mood strikes, but you’ll also find him snoozing on the couch, happily living his best laid-back life. He’s not much of a barker—only speaking up when he has something important to say like another friendly dog on a walk. He is very smart and quiets down when he hears "no." Garnet thrives on a routine, especially after transitioning to a new home after being with his previous family for so long. He wakes up with energy and LOVES going for morning walks! His walks aren't always the longest, but any opportunity to get outside and explore is a great way to start the day. Garnet is wonderful with people and loves to give kisses. He is so easy to take everywhere, whether it be errands or his brother's games. During the day while his mom works, he is happy to chill in his crate, open or closed. He is incredibly loving and wants nothing more than to have the attention of his family. Garnet will be your shadow and likes to follow his family around whenever they move rooms. 

He does well with small dogs that are friendly (he hasn’t been tested with large dogs or cats). Garnet LOVES to be the center of attention, so he would probably prefer to be the only dog in a house so he can get lots of attention. He is currently in a foster home with another friendly Pomeranian, but he mostly pays attention to what the humans are doing. He loves car rides and sits quietly, making him an easy travel companion. He also enjoys leisurely sniff walks, taking his time to savor all the outdoor scents. Always ready for cuddles and belly rubs, Garnet truly is the ultimate couch potato and snuggle king. When you get home from the work day, he is so thrilled to greet you and go for his evening walk before dinner. After dinner, he typically settles into his crate, dog bed, or on the couch with you!
