Chartreuse

Chartreuse has a gentle, loving nature. He’s a senior pup with arthritis in his back legs, but that doesn’t stop him from wagging his tail or enjoying a walk. In fact, Chartreuse lives for them—even if they’re short.

He may be hard of hearing (or possibly deaf), which makes him a peaceful little housemate—he doesn’t react to doorbells or loud noises, and only barks when he’s letting you know it’s dinner time. He’s house-trained (with only rare accidents when sick), gets along with animals and people, and will follow you from room to room. Chartreuse doesn’t beg for food, but will show his appreciation if you share a bit of chicken or green beans. He absolutely LOVES cuddles and laying with you on the couch. But he will lay at your feet or on your favorite t-shirt (which he prefers over his dog bed). He’s currently on a soft food diet and loves treats. Chartreuse is an ideal companion for a lowkey family that wants a companion to snuggle with and give tons of love!
